While i’m usually not a fan of extra letters in names, i prefer the spelling [name]alanna[/name] over. My dad’s name is [name_m]alan [/name_m], so i always thought i.

So, my middle name is my paternal grandfather’s name, and i always thought i would do the same thing with my first child. We have a little girl named [name]alana[/name] and she is having a baby sister. I am fully irish and my husband is persian/arabic. I need some naming advice!!!
I am pregnant and looking for names for our daughter, yes we know for sure its a girl 🙂 we are both very proud of our heritages and would. Which would you pick and why? Lana is a slavic short form of svetlana, milana etc. We [name]love[/name] the name [name]adriana[/name], but it is awfully close.
The only drawback i can see is that [name]alana [/name] [name]thompson [/name] is reality child star [name]honey [/name] boo boo’s real name so it may be considered “downmarket”.
I think i have finally narrowed it down to 2 names for my daughter.
